Arelti Means Walking the Road Less Traveled with our Partners

For more than two decades, we have worked alongside friends in the region who bring hope to this challenging situation. However, our involvement has often been indirect, aligned with the missions of larger international organizations we represent that focused on short-term aid in areas of the organization’s interest. While this work is vital, the agendas are typically set by the organizations themselves, not by those living on the margins. Moreover, these larger organizations rarely collaborate with smaller, grassroots organizations, which are also making a significant impact. These smaller groups often lack access to professional tools and financial resources that could enhance their effectiveness.

At Arelti, we have intentionally chosen to work directly with individuals, smaller grassroots organizations, and communities that are often overlooked by larger international organizations. Arelti provides coaching, consulting, mentoring, and advisory services that are typically beyond the reach of our partners. In some cases, we lead initiatives that our partners request us to lead. These initiatives may include fundraising, volunteer engagement, translation, networking, and communication; initiatives they may not be able to handle alone.

Our name, Arelti, is inspired by the idea of “the road less traveled.” It represents our commitment to taking a path that is unconventional and uncertain, yet filled with potential. This path is about personal growth, self-discovery, and authenticity, where the challenges we face alongside our partners foster resilience and strength. We believe that this road often sparks innovation and creativity by challenging norms and exploring new possibilities. While it carries risks and uncertainties, it also offers unique rewards and a deeper sense of fulfillment.

By choosing this path, Arelti is not just a name; it is a mission. We stand with those who dare to take the less traveled road, believing that together, we can forge a new path toward a brighter future for Burma.
